This is welcome news in light of Creative Assembly’s surprise announcement this week that a sequel to the first-person thriller is in development. If you haven’t had the opportunity to play the original, which remains one of the most terrifying games out there, you can quickly boot it on the internet browser on your laptop, phone, tablet, or likely on your smart TV. Luna games support keyboard and mouse but you can play via a connected controller. Considering that this 2014 game still usually sells for $39.99 on Steam, that is all the motivation I need to get busy playing it via Luna.Amazon is offering two more free and fantastic first-person shooters to Prime members, and these are for keeps. Doom Eternal (redeemable on Microsoft Store) and BioShock Remastered (GOG.com) can be picked up now through Nov. 14 and Jan. 8 2025, respectively. I guess if there’s a throughline between all of these games it’s that they’re filled with beasts and mutations that want to kill you, and I’d be absolutely miserable to be stuck in any of their worlds. If, by chance, you don’t subscribe to Amazon Prime, well for starters you just missed out on its bi-annual Prime Day sale. However, it’s not too late to miss out on these goodies, so grab a subscription if you want. With a Prime membership, you’ll also be able to snag a large catalog of other free games, including Borderlands 2 on the Epic Games Store, Kerbal Space Program and Cat Quest 2 on GOG.com, and many more.Amazon Prime$15$15New members may be eligible for a free trial.Read More$15 at Amazon (monthly)
